

As a 14-year-old Bengali rapper and yard dee-jay Deeder Zaman aka Master D (Now Dub Producer and Musician) founded the Asian Dub Foundation (ADF). At the age of 5 he was breakdancing, listening to Greensleeves records and Bob Marley. Playing his first show in 1990 at the age of 12.

Deedar aka Master D left ADF at the end of 2000 to start work on his own projects, setting up his own label, Anchor. Working closely with Trevor Boucaud @ Crusial & African Head Charge, Dennis Rootical @ Iration Steppers, Devon White, Adrian Sherwood, Skip McDonald & Ghetto Priest @ the ON-U Sound stables. Writing with Benjamin Zephaniah, Tony Penultimate of the British Ukelule Orchrestra, Miscarrisge of Justicees Rob Brown & Paul Blackburn, Drooling Beat, Dub All Sense, Yuka from O'Rappa (Brasil) & Maga Bo and dubbing artists such as Prince Far I, Jah Shaka, Chronixx, Jah 9, Addis Pablo (son of Legendary Augustus Pablo).
